For a standard room or a large Roman Clay accent wall, expect the project to take 2 to 4 days depending on the initial condition of your walls.
The main difference lies in texture and application. Limewash is a mineral-based paint applied with a brush, resulting in a matte, chalky finish with soft brushstrokes. Roman Clay, on the other hand, is a plaster finish applied with a putty knife or trowel. It creates a smooth, hard surface that feels velvety to the touch and mimics the look of natural stone or marble. If you prefer a “cloudy” but smooth aesthetic, Roman Clay is the better choice
